Feast of the Immaculate Conception

On Wednesday, December 8, 2022, on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, Veronica Pacho and Sophia Elias both received their medals from the Chaldean Sisters Novitiate, Daughters of Mary Immaculate. Sr. Bernadette Setto and Sr. Immaculata Kassab also renewed their vows. The ceremony and Mass was celebrated by Bp. Francis Kalabat at Mother of God Chaldean Church in Southfield, Michigan.

Subdiaconate Ordination of Namir Narra

This past Sunday, on our annual Diocesan “Day of Vocations,” the Chaldean community celebrated as Namir Narra received his stole and was ordained to the subdiaconate by Bishop Francis Kalabat, bringing him one step closer to ordination to the priesthood! The ceremony and Mass took place on December 5, 2021 at Mar Addai Chaldean Church in Oak Park, Michigan.

Immaculate Conception Mission Christmas Recital

On Saturday, December 4, 2021, our Immaculate Conception Chaldean Catholic Mission in Wayland, Massachusetts, hosted a Christmas Recital. The Immaculate Conception Chaldean Choir and the United in Christ Coptic Orthodox Choir prayed and sang together in unity as one body in Christ, preparing for the coming of our Lord Savior Jesus Christ.

3rd Annual Bishop’s Dinner Registration Open

Stride for Seminarians 2021

The 8th Annual Stride for Seminarians was held on September 19, 2021, hosted by the Alexander and Gabrielle Mansour Memorial Fund. This year’s event was hosted at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit, marking the first time supporters walked and prayed together since 2019’s event at the zoo.
