The Chaldean community gathered for its 4th Annual Bishop’s Dinner—a benefit dinner for the bishop’s office in support of our diocese, seminarians, and priests. Our night of celebration took take place on Thursday, February 2, 2023 on Ba’utha Thanksgiving, also known as “Chaldean Thanksgiving,” to give thanks to our Lord for all the blessings He has bestowed upon our diocese.

The bishop’s dinner is our largest annual fundraiser, in support of our seminarian fund, priest retirement fund, and the bishop’s office. Our night of celebration took place at Shenandoah in West Bloomfield Township, Michigan, after our three-day Ba’utha fast on Ba’utha Thanksgiving.

This year, we celebrated the 41st anniversary of the establishment of our diocese, as we reflected on the past 41 years and looked forward to the next 41 years! Through your generosity, the dinner exceeded all expectations raising over $600,000! We give thanks to God for everyone’s contributions, no matter how large or small!

We want to again thank our sponsors and all those who volunteered, donated, and prayed for us—making our 4th Annual Bishop’s Dinner a success! You are among those who give life to our work for the Lord and in our shared mission, to make Christ known to all!
