The diocese holds annual special collections to help offset the cost of specific expenses or funds. Below is a list of the annual collections held at Masses throughout the year.

CHRISTMAS COLLECTION
Second collection during all Christmas Masses. All funds collected are divided up as follows: 35% toward seminarian education, 35% to the priest retirement fund, and 30% to the Iraq Relief Fund (to aid refugees and people in Iraq).

EASTER COLLECTION
Second collection during Easter Masses. All funds collected go toward the seminarian fund.

HOME MISSION
Second collection for our mission churches in Massachusetts & Florida.

PETER’S PENCE
Second collection for the Holy See of the Catholic Church (Vatican).
