From December 10-12, 2021, the Most Rev. Francis Y. Kalabat, bishop of our diocese, visited our Boston Chaldean Mission (Immaculate Conception Chaldean Mission) in Wayland, Massachusetts!
On Wednesday, December 8, 2022, on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, Veronica Pacho and Sophia Elias both received their medals from the Chaldean Sisters Novitiate, Daughters of Mary Immaculate. Sr. Bernadette Setto and Sr. Immaculata Kassab also renewed their vows. The ceremony and Mass was celebrated by Bp. Francis Kalabat at Mother of God Chaldean Church in Southfield, Michigan.
This past Sunday, on our annual Diocesan “Day of Vocations,” the Chaldean community celebrated as Namir Narra received his stole and was ordained to the subdiaconate by Bishop Francis Kalabat, bringing him one step closer to ordination to the priesthood! The ceremony and Mass took place on December 5, 2021 at Mar Addai Chaldean Church in Oak Park, Michigan.
