Protecting God's Children

The Protecting God’s Children workshop is designed to certify clerics, eparchial employees, and volunteers who serve children and elderly on a regular basis. The training curriculum includes information concerning: signs and symptoms of child sexual abuse, dynamics of child abuse, impact of child abuse, intervention strategies, reporting requirements, and community resources.
All volunteers that come into contact with children and elderly are required to take this workshop in order to minister, work, or volunteer within the Eparchy.
