UPDATE: This is a unique permission granted under extreme circumstances available for all our parishes, though some may not participate. These directives do not apply to our Illinois parishes of Mart Mariam and St. Ephrem. Please check with your parish if they are participating.

Regarding the Celebration of Christmas Masses
Due to the pandemic and social distancing requirements, Bishop Francis is allowing four days (December 24-27) to attend Christmas Mass. Attending just one Mass within these four days will count as both your Christmas and Sunday Mass. We’re asking each family to choose ONE Mass to attend to assist parishes with social distancing. Many of our parishes will also be adding additional Christmas Masses, providing more opportunities for everyone to attend Mass.
If you are sick or still not comfortable attending Masses, you may watch one of the many virtual Masses available online, so as to keep Christmas a time of prayer and worship.

تعليمات حول قداديس عيد الميلاد
نظرا للضوابط (التي وضعت لحصر جائحة كورونا) مثل التباعد الاجتماعي، فان المطران مار فرنسيس قلابات قد جعل عيد الميلاد لفترة اربعة ايام (24 ـ 27)، فعلى كل عائلة ان تختار يوما واحدا من هذه الأيام لحضور قداس العيد، وسيغطي قداس الأحد أيضا ذلك لإفساح المجال لآخرين لحضور قداس العيد، كما لكي لا يكون هناك زحاما في الكنائس، علما بأن معظم خورناتنا ستضيف عددا آخر من القداديس في هذه الايام، لتكون لكم اكثر من فرصة لحضور اي من قداديس العيد.
أما اؤلئك الذين يعانون من بعض الامراض، او من يتوخون الاختلاط خوفا من الاصابة، ان يلتزموا البيوت وان يشاهدوا القداس من التلفزيون او الوسائل الاخرى المتوفرة لديهم، فهذا لا يزال يعتبر كحضورهم الشخصي في الكنيسة.
