Dear Brothers and Sisters in Faith,
After much discernment, Fr. Bashar Sitto has decided to leave ministry. His main reason is the recurring physical ailments that have reappeared from his 2016 accident. These have recently limited his ministry and as a result have caused pain and hardship. This was not an easy decision that was made and it was made in prayer and in regular private meetings with myself over the last several months.
Please continue to pray for all our clergy, seminarians, and all those discerning the priesthood.

الإخوة والأخوات في الإيمان ،
قرر الأب بشار ستو ترك الخدمة الكهنوتية. السبب الرئيسي لهذا القرار هو الأمراض الجسدية المتكررة التي عادت إلى الظهور من حادث مروري عام 2016. هذه الأمراض اثرت على خدمته الكهنوتية و سببت له الألم والمعاناة. لقد اخذَ هذا القرار بعد التفكير و الصلاة و اجتماعات عديدة مع المطران فرنسيس خاصة منتظمة خلال الأشهر العديدة الماضية.
