The Chaldean Catholic Diocese of St. Thomas the Apostle U.S.A., in collaboration with the Chaldean Community Foundation, has officially opened the Mar Ibrahim Library — a new center dedicated to preserving, studying, and celebrating the rich spiritual and historical heritage of the Chaldean Church.
Established to safeguard sacred texts, historical archives, and scholarly resources, the Mar Ibrahim Library was created as a home for our history — a place where faith, culture, and scholarship meet. The library serves as a growing repository of books, manuscripts, and materials that reflect the depth of our Eastern Catholic tradition and the enduring legacy of the Chaldean people.
Located at the Chaldean Community Foundation (West Bloomfield Campus), the library also features a dedicated study area open to the public.
Students, researchers, parishioners, and community members are invited to take advantage of this quiet and welcoming space for reading, writing, and reflection.
Public Study Hours:
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Location:
2075 Walnut Lake Rd
West Bloomfield, MI 48323
The Mar Ibrahim Library stands as a lasting investment in education, preservation, and faith — open to all who seek to learn and grow.
