Beginning September 16, 2019, St. Thomas Chaldean Eparchy will offer classes to anyone interested in learning the Chaldean liturgy, the Aramaic language, and the spirituality of serving the altar. These classes are open to everyone interested, but especially for those who are currently serving the altar, as well as those who wish to be ordained sub-deacons. The minimum age is 12 years old. Courses will last three months and will include all levels from beginners to advance. Classes are offered in both English and Arabic.
In the Eastside, classes are every Monday from 6:30–8:30pm at Sacred Heart Church (30590 Dequindre Rd., Warren, MI 48092).
In the Westside, classes are every Wednesday from 6:30–8:30pm at St. Thomas Church (6900 West Maple Rd., West Bloomfield, MI 48322).
