Bishop Francis Kalabat announces the following appointments

The following are the 2025 Clergy Assignments, effective August 1, 2025:

-Rev. Fr. Patrick Setto will receive a one-year extension as Parochial Vicar at St. Joseph Chaldean Catholic Church in Troy, MI.

-Rev. Fr. Fadie Gorgies will continue his ministry as the Chaplain of the Oakland County Jail while also advancing his studies and providing weekend assistance at St. Joseph Chaldean Catholic Church in Troy, MI.

-Rev. Fr. John Jaddou will be assigned as Parochial Vicar at Holy Martyrs Chaldean Catholic Church in Sterling Heights, MI.

-Rev. Fr. Perrin Atisha will be assigned as Vicar for Priestly Life – offering spiritual support to priests – while supporting Mother of God Chaldean Catholic Church in Southfield, MI.

-Rev. Fr. Faris Marogi, from the Diocese of Alqosh, Iraq, will be a priest in residence at Mother of God Chaldean Catholic Church in Southfield, MI.

-Deacon Joseph Nannoshi, who will be ordained in July of 2025, will be assigned as Parochial Vicar at St. George Chaldean Catholic Church in Shelby Township, MI.

-Deacon Eahab Ishak, who will be ordained in July of 2025, will be assigned as Parochial Vicar at St. George Chaldean Catholic Church in Shelby Township, MI.

Diaconate Assignments

-Brandon Elias, after his ordination to the diaconate, will be assigned to Mother of God Chaldean Catholic Church in Southfield, MI.

-Lucian Gumma, after his ordination to the diaconate, will be assigned to St. Joseph Chaldean Catholic Church in Troy, MI.
