On Friday, January 29, Chaldeans across the diocese organized to be a voice for the unborn, marking the first Chaldeans for Life: Day of Prayer. Parishes prayed in front of five different abortion clinics, asking God to protect all unborn children, and to end abortion. They then gathered in the evening at St. George Chaldean Church for Mass with Bishop Francis Kalabat, Adoration, Confessions, and keynote talks by pro-life speakers Christina Marchetti (English) and Dr. Louay Mansour (Arabic).
Thank you to everyone who came out to our Chaldeans for Life Day of Prayer evening event! Almighty and ever-living God, You have created all things through your Son, Jesus Christ. He trampled the power of death by His Paschal Mystery. May all who acknowledge You promote the sacredness of life and always serve You faithfully, through the same Christ, Our Lord. Amen.
