A group from our diocese and the Chaldean Diocese of St. Paul the Apostle joined tens of thousands of people in Washington D.C. from January 20-23 for the annual March for Life! Led by Fr. Perrin Atisha, Fr. Rodney Abasso, Fr. John Jaddou, Fr. Marcus Shammami, and Fr. Daniel Shaba — the group peacefully prayed and protested for the protection and dignity of our unborn brothers and sisters.
To prepare for the march, the group celebrated Mass on Thursday, January 20 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. They celebrated Mass the following day at St. Dominic Catholic Church before joining thousands on Friday, January 21 for the March for Life. On Saturday, January 22, they celebrated Mass in the crypt of the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.
We continue to pray for an end to abortion and the sanctity of all human life!
