In an effort to help the people of Lebanon, HelpIraq.org is auctioning special edition commemorative medals of Pope Francis’ Historic Papal Visit to Iraq.
Update Regarding Lebanon Relief Aid
Thanks to the generosity of our people, our diocese was able to collect about $100,000 to provide aid to Lebanon, following the tragic explosion earlier this month.
Housing for 40 Families
Helpiraq.org funded the renovation of an industrial building which will house 40 families. The building will also have common kitchens, restrooms, showers, and other areas of need for multiple families to share. This project provided space to move more caravans where other families could be placed.
Al Kama
Helpiraq.org funded the renovation of the vacant Babylon building in order to house 510 people (no rent). The project was spearheaded by Fr. Najib. Special thanks to the generous owners of the Babylon building for donating the site to HelpIraq to use in this project.
